Description
Drug-Induced Nutrient depletion, or DIND for short, is one of the most important and hot topics in medicine today. What’s so important about this issue? Well, would you like to be playing golf or able to enjoy time traveling with your loved ones when you’re 65 or would you rather be home-bound and asking your loved ones to pick up your surplus of prescriptions from the Pharmacy? If you want to stay active, healthy and enjoy quality time NOW and during your later years in life with your family, then read this eBook carefully.
DIND was coined in the 1990s by myself and fellow Pharmacist Ross Pelton, and it refers to the reduction in levels of essential nutrients in the body, including vitamins and minerals, amino acids and fatty acids by commonly used prescription and non-prescription medications. If these drugs are used long-term, over months or years, the depletion of essential nutrients may lead to:
• Side effects which develop over time
• Appearance or worsening of symptoms
• Other chronic health conditions
